Very nice deep yellow color, with a powerful nose of flowers and exotic fruits (mango, lychee, grapefruit), which finishes with a pleasant aftertaste of vanilla and toasted notes. The wine is aged on the lees (sur lie) for 9 months in oak barrels. The wine goes well as an apéritif, and is great with fish and meat dishes in sauce, foie gras and asparagus.
Vignobles Raguenot, founded in 1967, thrives thanks to Lise and Philippe Raguenot. In 1997, their two daughters Emmanuelle and Marie-Pierre, together with their respective husbands, Daren Miller and Eric Lallez, took over the Château des Tourtes domain in the Blaye-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Thanks to their experience and talents, they changed careers and became wine producers after training in oenology and viticulture. They have won more than 100 medals over the last 25 years, as well as numerous press articles celebrating their commitment to winemaking every year.
They are a family of independent winegrowers who work and live for one and only passion: Creating good wine.
