The orange label faintly shows a crescent moon, symbolizing that work is done in harmony with the lunar calendar. The color orange symbolizes the wine's characteristics, which are ambition, energy and dynamism.
Gewurztraminer is a very aromatic and old grape variety that has always been known in Alsace. The wine has an intense yellow color with golden reflections. A very rich and powerful nose with notes of exotic fruits (lychee, passion fruit, mango) and spices. A full-bodied wine with a harmonious finish.
The wine goes well as an apéritif, with strongly flavored cheeses and spicy dishes.
Burckel Jung has produced wines with great respect for nature since 1802 (8th generation) and is today certified organic and biodynamic. Burckel Jung also has a tourist activity called “Les plantes Sauvages et les Vignes”, which is classified as “ecotourism” in the Grand Est region. Like the family, Burckel Jung's wines have a strong personality with a unique character that reflects 8 generations of intense work in developing and producing quality wine.
