A very successful red wine with a classic "Bordeaux taste". Good balance between acid and tannin with notes of blackcurrant, leather and generally dark fruit. Goes well with food with fat and protein. The wine is organic, and Château du Grand Bos works based on biodynamic principles.
Château du Grand Bos is a family property located in the heart of Graves. The castle remains from the 17th century, and has approx. 43 ha, half of which is vineyards, while the other part is forest with very old trees. Lou is now the main character behind Château du Grand Bos, where she has now taken over in the third generation. She works with the same values that they have always focused on: respect for nature and conservation of biodiversity in order to develop a healthy and qualitative product. The castle is located at the intersection of 3 communes: Castres-Gironde, Saint-Selvé and Portets, near the old Roman road. Their terroir is historic, with the estate producing top Graves wine since the 17th century.
