"Forces de Vies" (Life force) gives well-being and good energy. The label, a small work of art, symbolizes the diversity of a biodynamic vineyard where work follows the lunar calendar. The wine is aged in oak casks for 18 months, and has a strikingly fine balance between colour, floral aromas and flavors of raspberry, cherry, plum, spices, oak and minerals.
"This biodynamic wine is one of the spearheads of the appellation (Côtes de Bourg) thanks to the demanding work of Jean-Yves Béchet. A mature and digestible wine for decanting before serving, which can easily compete with a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru.” (L'Equipe Magazine, 13/4-19, Jérôme Baudou).
Forces de Vies goes well with most meat dishes.
The wine can be stored in the cellar for up to 15-20 years.
Château Fougas is a family estate that dates back to the 18th century. Since the late 1970s, the married couple Jean-Yves and Michèle Béchet have been there. Back then the soil was very bad, so they have spent many years cleaning it and making it what it is today. They have been organic since 2007 and biodynamic since 2009. They produce quality wines characterized by the minerality of its terroir. These are very "pure" and unique wines.
