"Bonnet Orange" has a gentle nose with notes of lime, lemon, melon and nectarine. Similar taste with discreet tannins and balanced acidity. A very fresh and easily drinkable orange wine in fine balance.
Vinification where 50% is macerated for 12 days followed by fermentation and development in an underground concrete tank, and 50% macerated for one month followed by fermentation and development in an egg-shaped 700 liter terracotta container.
Bonnet Orange is good as an apéritif or for light starters.
Domaine Bonnet-Huteau is run today by the brothers Jean-Jacques and Rémi Bonnet. The brothers strive to reflect the diversity and minerality of the terroir: gneiss, slate, amphibolite and granite.
