Grapes: 60% Merlot & 40% Cabernet Sauvignon (harvested manually)

Alcohol: 13%

"Organic" is delicious, warm and elegant, fully expressing its classic Bordeaux origins. The wine is aged for 3 months in oak barrels and then 8-10 months in steel tanks. Organic has flavors of fresh red berries, and is very soft with well-balanced tannins.

Organic goes well with most meat dishes.

The wine can be stored in the cellar for up to 5-10 years.

Château Fougas is a family estate that dates back to the 18th century. Since the late 1970s, the married couple Jean-Yves and Michèle Béchet have been there. Back then the soil was very bad, so they have spent many years cleaning it and making it what it is today. They have been organic since 2007 and biodynamic since 2009. They produce quality wines characterized by the minerality of its terroir. These are very "pure" and unique wines.
