"La Clairière" has a nice pink color with a nose of lime, gooseberry and dried apricot and corresponding flavor complemented by notes from red berries. The bottle itself is decorative, and if you hold it around the neck and turn it over, it can be used as a fun "bouquet" for a hostess gift. The grapes are harvested early in the morning to preserve freshness.

La Clairière is good as an apéritif or with salad dishes, carpaccio and grilled fish.

Domaine de la Palud, located south of the city of Orange in the Rhône region, produces Marie-Laure Grangeon top wines with "know-how" handed down from her ancestors. Domaine de la Palud has been in the family since 1841 and before that the vineyard belonged to a Provencal noble family for five centuries. At the vineyard there is still a building (a tower) left from the 14th century.
